Wegmans announced earlier this month that they will be installing cameras at their busiest stores so customers can check and see how busy the store is before they leave their home.

According to a press release, the cameras are just one of the ways the grocery store is trying to help keep contact down during the COVID-19 pandemic.

They also are now offering contactless checkout where you scan the items you want to buy and bag them. Then you just scan the bar-code when you check out and you are all set to go.

Wegmans will also have special hours on Thanksgiving, closing at 4 pm on Thursday and not reopening until Friday morning at 6 am.
