Ways to Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day This Year
It's St. Patrick's Day but it feels different this year. Because of the coronavirus restrictions, more people will be celebrating at home. They certainly won't be able to celebrate at a bar or tavern.
Many restaurants had planned on having special food and drink for today but yesterday changed all of that and left many unhappy. Remember you can still get takeout and I suggest that you support our local businesses the best you can during this time of crisis.
Here's another possible suggestion: Take your sweetie to the 'Mc'Donalds drive through, after all, it's an Irish restaurant...right. If you do that, let me know how it turns out
If you are looking to cook up something at home, Traci has some tasty Irish recipes for you to enjoy. Here's another gift to you for St. Patrick's Day, it's Traci's Almost World Famous Corned Beef and Cabbage recipe.
Here's one final Irish recipe for you. Pour a Guinness into a mug, wait for the foam to disappear, then drink responsibly. Here's one thing to remember (especially this year), don't DRINK too much. Alcohol weakens your immune system, which is exactly what you don't want right now.
Happy St. Patrick's Day and remember: If you're lucky enough to be Irish, you're lucky enough.
