It seems like only yesterday, I was listening to Waylon Jennings sing the theme song to "The Dukes Of Hazzard," the Friday night CBS comedy staple that brought a new audience to his music.  The show made Waylon a boat load of money and was just a small part of his impressive entertainment resume.

This week, marks the release of what is being billed as "Waylon's Last Recordings."  The album has been talked about since last February when Taste Of Country broke the story.  And now months later, the family has determined that this is the time to celebrate the singer's life and career with a new album of unreleased material.  11 of the 12 songs will be songs Waylon wrote and has been reported to have been recorded "during the last few years of the legendary singer's life.

Look for Waylon Jennings: Goin' Down Rockin,' in stores, online and itunes. Also keep listening to "Taste Of Country Nights," weeknights 7pm-Midnight on 98.1 the Hawk, as I'm sure they will be talking about it as well.
