The Vestal Fire Department responded to Echo Road shortly at around 1:36 p.m. with a report of someone hanging 10 to 15 feet off the ground from a harness, pinned between two trees.

The extent of the person’s injuries is unknown but authorities say the harness probably prevented the situation from being more serious.
