UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital Gets Federal COVID Funding

UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital is awarded $2.4 million from a new federal funding allocation designated for ‘hot spot’ hospitals. U.S. Senators Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand announced the new round of funding which goes to cover unreimbursed health care-related expenses or lost revenues attributable to the public health emergency resulting from the coronavirus. Over 85 hospitals statewide are sharing in $680 million provided through the CARES act signed by President Trump in March.
