Tim McGraw is a fan favorite in the Greater Binghamton area, having played Binghamton a number of times over the years, including the Dick's Sporting Goods Open a few years ago.  This weekend, Tim stops by 'Rise Up Country' Sunday morning 6-8 and he also co-hosts 'Country Countdown USA' Sunday night 7-10 on 98.1 The Hawk.

Christmas is coming, and that means many things for Tim McGraw, "We have Christmas trees, wreaths, it's allergy world at my house right now! But I'm going to be home for Christmas this year. It's going to be a big celebration."

The house is completely decorated, done over the top, because Gracie comes home from college, and it's Maggie's senior year, her last year at home, so it's going to be a special Christmas at home."

Speaking of Gracie, she sings on Tim's new album, Damn Country Music, on a song called "Here Tonight." Gracie was a surprise guest on Tim's Nashville show in August. CCUSA host Lon Helton asked him who was the most nervous: Himself, Faith, or Gracie? "That's easy. Faith was definitely the most nervous. I was the second most nervous, and Gracie wasn't nervous at all. But when I asked her to do it, at first she was like, 'Oh I don't know, dad, I don't know.' Couple days before the show, she said, 'OK, I'll sing.'

Tim is a huge baseball fan, and his father Tug McGraw pitched for the New York Mets. So when the Mets made it to the World Series, Tim went several games. He also went to the National League Championship with the Chicago Cubs.

So what are the plans for 2016? Tim will fill us in Sunday night at 7 and share some Christmas traditions as well.

Tim also has great stories this week about Luke Bryan, Brothers Osborne, Chris Janson, Chase Bryant, Big & Rich, Brad Paisley, and LoCash.
