The 2025 DICK'S Sporting Goods Open is Wednesday, June 9th to Sunday, June 13th. But did you hear who could come to next year's event? In case you didn't know, Tiger Woods, will be hitting the big 5-0 milestone in December.

Do you know what that means? It means he will be eligible to play for the PGA Tour Champions in 2026. If he were to come, it wouldn't be the first time that he was here. A young Tiger teed it up at the 1996 B.C. Open for his fourth career start as a pro.

Fred Funk (and the rain) was the winner as Tiger tied for 3rd and in his next start (two weeks later), won the Las Vegas Invitational for his first career PGA Tour victory. We may be on the brink of seeing him back in town as he moves into a new phase of his career.

In an interview in November 2021, Woods suggested that he might not play golf as a job all the time, but he said he would still play in a few events each year. He came back to the PGA Tour for the 2022 Masters. And now, as he turns 50, he can play in the PGA Tour Champions.

So, the question on everyone's mind is - will we see Tiger Woods gracing the greens at the Dick's Sporting Goods Open in 2026 as a player? Wouldn't that be something to see!

Do you think Tiger Woods will make an appearance at the Dick's Sporting Goods Open in the future? Let's keep our fingers crossed and hope for a reunion between Tiger and one of the most prestigious golfing events. Tiger Woods at the Dick's Sporting Goods Open - sounds like a dream come true, doesn't it? Just hope that it's not too good to be true.
