TAKE A LOOK: Thousands of Flags Planted by United Way to Honor 9/11 Victims
The United Way of Broome County Is making sure that all the people who lost their lives on September 11, 2001 will never be forgotten.
On Sunday, more than 2,996 small American flags, one for each person who died, were planted on the front lawn of the organization's facility in Vestal. A special ceremony was held on Wednesday, the 18th anniversary of the attacks.
