What an absolutely glorious weekend we just stepped out of. Perfect temperatures and plenty of sunshine meant my family decided to do some of our "The Little Scientist" experiments outdoors.

Ever since I came home from the grocery store with a bottle of Diet Coke and a sleeve of Mentos a few weeks ago, my son has been begging to do what he called the "CokenMentos" experiment (all one word, all said super fast), but my husband and I were waiting for the perfect day when we could go into the yard because cleaning up sticky soda sprayed all over the inside of our house didn't exactly sound like an appealing time.

Science doesn't have to be boring. As a matter of fact, it can be a whole lot of fun...escpecially when mom and dad are the ones getting sticky. Today we're excited to share the results of our soda geyser experiment, but if you've missed any of our past The Little Scientist Learns experiments, be sure to check them out here.
