I love Chinese food, but I don’t love spending a bunch of money on take out, so decided to see if I could recreate chicken chow mein at home and make it a little more healthy and I’m really pleased with the results.

How many times have you seen leeks in the grocery store, but hesitated to buy some because you had no idea what to do with them?  Leeks are fantastic because they're so versatile.  They taste a little bit like onions, but with less bite.

I’ve often wondered what I’d do if I didn’t work in radio. I went to college for English and History and toyed with the idea of becoming an English professor, but we see how well that worked out.
