Hello! My name is Kristian Bush. I’m the guy in the hat from Sugarland. Some of you might have heard me sing. Most of you probably haven’t. I’m familiar when I’m on a stage next to my Sugarland partner, Jennifer, but some of you might not recognize me in the carpool line, or when I sit next to you on a plane. If we haven’t met yet, now’s as good of a time as any. Hi!

Kristian Bush is working on his own solo album, but his work with Jennifer Nettles as part of the award-winning duo Sugarland is never far from his mind. The singer-songwriter, who co-wrote most of the songs on their four studio albums, reveals that many of the tunes told one continuous story.

At a recent stop in Buffalo, N.Y., Sugarland's Kristian Bush eagerly shared new solo material, as well as stories about writing hit songs and his very first drinking tune.

Music is art. Music is medicine. Music is love and live and a higher revelation than all wisdom and philosophy.

Fear not, Sugarland fans: Even though Kristian Bush and Jennifer Nettles both have solo projects going on, the duo isn't breaking up.

Approximately 60 people affected by the stage collapse at the Indiana State Fair two years ago will get their day in court this winter. A trial date has been set for those looking to hold Sugarland and the companies responsible for building the stage accountable.

Sunday was the first Mother's Day for Sugarland singer Jennifer Nettles. She celebrated the holiday with another big first -- she debuted her son Magnus Hamilton Miller, born Dec. 6, 2012.

The members of Sugarland got the chance to make a young girl’s life brighter at a recent tour stop in Minnesota. Singer Jennifer Nettles and singer-songwriter Kristian Bush were performing at the Mystic Lake Casino Hotel on Aug. 8 when they were joined onstage by a very special guest — a 4-year-old cancer patient named Avery.
