The principal of a Johnson City school has been charged with attempted rape after he allegedly agreed to meet a teenage student to engage in sex.

It's National Police Week and the Police Week Charity Basketball Tournament in Johnson City. This year, the proceeds will help the kids of a man killed by a drunk driver.

The 8th Annual Police Week Charity Basketball Tournament is Saturday beginning at 1 p.m. in Johnson City. It benefits a Tioga County Sheriff Deputy with Stage 4 colon cancer.
