The city of Binghamton has ordered the demolition of another building once owned by a man described by Mayor Jared Kraham as the city's "most notorious slumlord."
The Broome County Land Bank is moving forward to acquire the Vestal property where a nursing home had operated until it was abandoned after flooding in the summer of 2011.
A man who the mayor has called "Binghamton's most notorious slumlord" has been arrested on more than a dozen warrants alleging violations of the city's housing code.
