Equal Pay Day

Data from 2023 found that women working full-time, year-round in New York State were paid 87.3 cents for every dollar that men were paid.

In recognition of Equal Pay Day, New York State Governor Kathy Hochul unveiled a new report from the Department of Labor on the state's gender wage gap.

Today, April 12th, is National Equal Pay Day. Although the date of this day changes every year, the reason for it stays the same.
