Every year it seems that Black Friday and the humongous sales become bigger than one day. With the competition from sales on Cyber Monday retail stores continued to open earlier and earlier on the day after Thanksgiving.

The trend continued for a few year with stores opting to open on Thanksgiving Day. That trend seems to be coming to a close however.
