Stay The Night At The World’s Last Blockbuster: It’s Now An Airbnb [PHOTOS]
If you lived through the '90s and even early 2000s, then you know just how big Blockbuster was.
The video rental store was a huge success in its day and was a major part of the pop culture scene. The introduction of streaming sites, such as Netflix and Hulu made it easily disposable, however. In fact, there's only ONE Blockbuster left, and now, you can stay overnight because it's just become an Airbnb!
Sandi Harding has been operating the (now) last Blockbuster since 2004 and has been keeping the tradition alive ever since.
Now, the last Blockbuster can be enjoyed as a very unique Airbnb.
According to the listing, it can accommodate up to four guests. It has a bed and half a bathroom, with a huge couch, comfy seats, and a giant TV screen to enjoy a Blockbuster movie night! It even has all the awesome snacks we love.
Located in Bend, Oregon, guests stay one night and there are openings in September.
"With everybody being stuck at home and re-experiencing family time together, we thought it would be fun to enjoy some family time in a throwback '90s environment, said Harding."
