The New York State Public High School Athletic Association Quarterfinal playoffs are being held this weekend at Dick Hoover Stadium in Vestal.  Section 4 champions host the champions from Section 3.  Two games will be played Friday night and three more on Saturday.  Winners advance to the state semifinals next weekend.

Starting things off on Friday at 5 PM in the Class D match-up undefeated Tioga (10-0) meets Frankfort-Schuyler (8-2).  Then in the nightcap in the Class A contest Union-Endicott (2-7) meets Carthage (9-1).

Saturday's lineup kicks off at noon with the Class C match-up between Susquehanna Valley (10-0) and Lowville (10-0).  The Sabers are riding a 23 game winning streak with an offense powered by multi-talented quarterback/running back Logan Haskell.

At 3 PM  in the Class B Quarterfinal Chenango Forks (10-0) faces the Solvay Bearcats who are also 10-0.

The Blue Devils are led by 255 pound Lucas Scott who is coming off of a 45-carry, 297 yard game against Maine-Endwell in the Section 4 Championship game.

At 6 PM the Class AA contest features Corning (9-1) against Cicero-North Syracuse (7-3).
