Honorary Membership invitations are extended at random.  Anyone interested but who have not been contacted in the mail for a membership should go to www.sheriffsinstitute.org for an application or contact the Sheriff’s office.

The Sheriff’s Summer Camp is in its 42nd year operating on Keuka Lake.  840 children across New York State get to go every year with the Sheriff’s Institute paying the entire cost of the camp stay and transportation.

Again, the Sheriff’s office says invitees are selected at random and invitations are sent in the mail.

Anyone who has a question if they are contacted by a person claiming to be collecting money for a police agency should contact their sheriff’s office for information.
