When I saw this news story on the news I could not, for the life of me, understand or comprehend what this Vance County Middle School Resource Officer was thinking or what was so bad that caused him to slam and 11-year-old student literally on his head.

According to news sources, in a Press Conference on Monday, Vance County Schools Superintendent Anthony Jackson said:
"We are better than this. This child deserved better than this. We will work tirelessly to ensure that this never happens again to another child in our school system."
