It's their biggest fundraiser of the year and it's a chance to help out an organization that's been around since 1952. It started out when 10 families got together to help kids with their developmental disabilities and 73 years later, they are still going strong. Go here to learn more about ACHIEVE.

Proceeds From Savor The Summer

All proceeds from the "Savor the Summer" event help ACHIEVE fund the critical services they give to over 2,200 individuals in the Broome, Chenango and Tioga county areas.

If you have never been to this event, then you are missing out. I've attended many times and will be there this year too. You won’t want to miss this great fundraising event for such a worthy cause…and if you leave hungry or thirsty, that’s on you, I have never had that problem. I guess maybe that’s why I blame the refrigerator and the dryer for my tight pants.
