Are your kids looking for something fun to do this summer? Maybe you want your child to experience the great outdoors instead of spending all their time inside on their social media devices.

The Salvation Army of Binghamton has the answer. They are taking applications for camp.

The Salvation Army’s Long Point Camp, a residential camp on Seneca Lake, is offering kids the chance to spend a week on a beautiful lakeside setting outdoors with all the fun that camp provides.

Over 1,200 children each summer attend Long Point Camp. It's 138 acres of wooded hills, farmland and shoreline on the western side of Seneca Lake.

The Salvation Army of Binghamton will be sending children and teens to the Army’s camp for a week of arts and crafts, hiking, sports, swimming and kayaking, along with a other activities that encourage teamwork and build self-esteem.

Teens can attend their own week at camp in July.
