Owego Welcomes Cars in the Park Sunday

If you love vintage cars, you may want to be in Owego's Hickories Park this Sunday for Cars in the Park.  Billed as a "shine and show," the event will feature vintage cars from all over the Southern Tier, competing for awards in 20 different classes.

A perfect stroll in the one of my favorite parks in the Southern Tier and the added bonus of a car show.  It's definitely family-friendly with games for the kids, a flea and craft market, music and some good eats.

Tickets are $10 at the gate this Sunday from 8am-4pm.  Car registration ends at 12:30.  Proceeds will benefit select charities in the Southern Tier.
