Scarecrows Are Coming Back to Otsiningo Park

Summer will officially come to an end on Monday, September 22nd and you know what that means. Fall will be here with its cooler temperatures, leaves changing colors, and corn mazes.

It also means that it is time for the 10th Annual Scarecrow Display & Contest and it will take place at Otsiningo Park this October. As always everyone is invited to join in on the autumn tradition.

When and Where

The scarecrows will be on display at Otsiningo Park from October 1 through October 24, 2025. Visitors can stroll through the park, enjoy the creative displays, and vote for their favorites.

Here is How to Enter

Want to build a scarecrow of your own? Entry is free, and anyone can participate—families, friends, businesses, schools, or local clubs. Entry forms are due by September 25th, 2025, and scarecrows must be set up in the park by October 1st. You can find entry forms and details online at gobroomecounty.com/parks/otsiningo.

Voting and Prizes

Once the displays are up, community members can vote for their favorite scarecrows. The top five most voted scarecrows will win prizes, so make sure to cast your ballot when you visit.

It always amazes me to see how creative everyone is when it comes to their scarecrow displays. Just when I think it can't be topped from previous years, you come through each and every time.
