According to several sources, including the Tennessean, the body of Craig Morgan's son, 19-year-old Jerry Greer has been recovered from the lake where he was involved in a tragic tubing accident on Sunday.

A statement released by Black River Entertainment, Craig Morgan's record label, reads in part, "It is with deep sadness that I am confirming the passing of Jerry Greer (19), son of country music entertainer Craig Morgan and wife Karen Greer." The statement continues, "The family is grateful for the outpouring of support and requests prayers at this time as they privately mourn this terrible loss."

Details are still emerging, but officials have confirmed that a search and rescue operation is underway for Craig Morgan's 19-year-old son, Jerry Greer, who was involved in a tubing accident in Tennessee on Sunday.

According to WKRN News out of Nashville, officials are searching nearly 10 acres for Morgan's son. They also report that the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency has brought in military-grade SONAR equipment in order to clearly see under the water.

Earlier reports on social media stated that Jerry, a recent high school graduate, was tubing with friends on Kentucky Lake on Sunday afternoon when he and another man collided and fell into the water. The other man was rescued, but reports state that Morgan's son didn't resurface and hasn't been found. According to the Tennessean, a call for help was placed around 4pm Sunday and crews have been working since last night to find Jerry.

A statement from Black River Entertainment, Craig Morgan's record label, reads, "Recent Dickson County High School graduate Jerry Greer (19), son of country music entertainer Craig Morgan and wife Karen Greer, went missing yesterday following a boating accident on Kentucky Lake in Humphreys County, Tennessee. Recovery efforts to locate him are underway. The family is grateful for everyone’s support and prayers and requests privacy during this difficult time."
