New York State is reporting the lowest number of new deaths associated with the COVID-19 pandemic since the outbreak began in mid-March.

Two people died July 20: one in Albany County and one in Suffolk County. 

There were 855 new cases statewide for a total 408,181.

There have been three new cases reported in Broome County for a total of 869 with 61 deaths blamed on COVID-19.  There have been 182 cases and 7 deaths in Chenango County, four new cases in Delaware County for a total of 87 and 6 deaths and 178 cases in Tioga County with 24 deaths. Cortland County has reported 77 cases.

In Pennsylvania the big urban areas of Pittsburgh and Philadelphia continue to be the spots of highest concern, driving the Commonwealth's numbers.  Since the start of the pandemic, there have been a total of 102,765 cases of COVID-19 and 7,038 deaths.

In Northeast Pennsylvania, there have been 68 cases in Bradford County and three deaths, 201 cases in Susquehanna County and 26 deaths and 149 cases in Wayne County and eight deaths.
