The hearing is at 11 a.m. and can be joined at ag.ny.gov/livestream.  Testimony can be submitted at ag.ny.gov/hearing.

A number of police interactions with protesters since the end of March have been peaceful but there have been notable exceptions including images of police firing tear gas and other projectiles at protesters, allegations of marchers being blocked from leaving demonstration sites and the viral video of a 75-year-old activist in Buffalo being shoved to the ground by police, hitting his head and lying, bleeding on the sidewalk.  Martin Gugino remains hospitalized.  His lawyers say he has a fractured skull and is undergoing therapy and is still unable to walk.

The Attorney General says members of the public can submit complaints, unlike comments in the public hearing, are not subject to public disclosure at ag.ny.gov/nypd-protest-response.
