Anymore football is a season round sport. When they aren't playing, we are still talking about it. ESPN dedicates a hour a day to football even during the off-season.

This is further proof, here it is Memorial Day weekend and here's another NFL football story.

As you probably know, my on-air partner Traci Taylor is a HUGE Philadelphia Eagle fan. She not only loves the team but she knows their history. Recently she was telling me about this guy named Vince Papale.

It's a story about a 30 year old bartender that went to an open tryout with 800 other men and against all odds was selected by head coach Dick Vermeil.

They even made a movie about him called "Invincible" with Mark Wahlberg playing the part of Vince.

Well Abiola Aborishade is hoping to repeat that story with the New England Patriots. Here's his story:

He's been waiting outside Gillette Stadium (the home of the New England Patriots) for a month and he hopes to get a tryout with the team.

He's been camping out under the bridge near the entrance to the Patriots' facility nearly every weekday since April 21st. He's been there for over 130 hours.

Abiola figures there are only three ways his quest can end:

1) They get sick and tired of him and give him his shot. 2) He gets a job with someone else who feels sorry for him. 3) Everyone can just leave him out here.

The only thing he says that’s NOT going to happen is him quitting. He claims he’s not leaving and does not have a “Plan B.”

So far he's said that he hasn't gotten a response from the Patriots and he's feeling......wait for it......deflated.
