Luke Bryan's kindergarten teacher would be proud: it was recently revealed that when it comes to songs, the country singer knows how to share. Justin Moore, who is prepping for the release of his album Kinda Don't Care, recently admitted that one of the tracks on his album initially belonged to Bryan.

When Moore first discovered the song in question, "Hell on a Highway," he was drawn to it right away.

“I was doing a festival type event in Texas, and somebody sent me that song, and immediately I loved it,” he recalls.

He soon discovered that the song -- written by Blake Bollinger, Matt Rogers and Ben Stennis -- was already on hold by another big name: Bryan. However, the head of his label believed that Kinda Don't Care needed "Hell on a Highway," so they called Bryan.

“So I said, ‘Well, I’ll just text or call Luke,'” Moore continues. “I don’t know which one I did, but he hit me back and said, ‘Man, if you love it, take it.’ And that speaks volumes about the type of guy Luke is. Luke and I have known each other since neither of us had a record deal. We’ve known each other a long time, and I’m very appreciative that he let us run with that.”

It's refreshing to see that kind of generosity in the music business. And fans of both artists can hear the song in question -- and the rest of Kinda Don't Care -- when the album is released in August. In the meantime, you can pre-order the album on iTunes.
