There are bacon lovers, then there's 10-year-old Jackson. When an unexpected stay at Golisano Children's Hospital in Rochester left him lounging in his bacon pajamas with a lot of time on his hands he got an idea.

In an interview with WHAM-TV, Jackson said he got his idea from a fellow patient at the hospital who requested pizza by placing a sign in the hospital window. Grabbing some poster board and markers he created his bacon request. As the saying goes, "Ask and Ye shall receive."

Jackson's request brought him several pounds of bacon, bacon jerky and even some bacon band-aids. Even better news, Jackson and his bacon are now back home recovering.
