Last Minute (And Easy) Halloween Costumes

Allow me to toot my own horn for a few minutes of your time. I rock at gathering last minute Halloween costumes.

I love Halloween and everything that comes with it. Every year, however, I find myself scrambling at the last minute to find the perfect costume. That is why I want to share some tips of the trade with you all, in case you find yourself in the same position!

Football Coach: This is the world's easiest costume and great for a last minute person. Grab your favorite teams hat and shirt and throw on a headset. You can also use headphones you already have and make a microphone out of foil.

John "Bluto" Blutarsky aka John Belushi in Animal House: Classic movie, classic character, extremely easy costume. I grabbed a pair of pajama pants and made them into shorts. Found a blue sweatshirt and ironed on the letters to spell out "COLLEGE." Then messed up my hair and wore white socks with either boots or some old school Vans or Converses.

Rockstar: This photo is actually a promotional photo for one of my first college radio shows "Hair Metal Monday." It is also a super easy costume to throw together. I had a blonde wig lying around from an old Halloween costume so I used that. They also cost under $10 at the Halloween store. I then took an old black t-shirt and tore it up and grabbed some old jeans and cut a few holes in them. Then I raided a bunch of closets to find scarves and anything silky. Easy costume that has a great effect.
