Johnson City Police Called to Suspected Shot Fired

Broome County Emergency Services officials are confirming Johnson City Police are investigating a report of what a resident thought may have been a shot fired near the Binghamton University Pharmacy School September 17.
The call about a possible shot fired in the area of Broad Street and Corliss Avenue was made shortly after 9:30 p.m.
There have been no reports of injuries and no verification that the loud bang heard was actually a gunshot.
Police were said to still be on the scene at 3:50 a.m. September 18.
