According to TasteofCountry.com, "Country music will have two representatives at the 2015 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City. Jake Owen and Jennifer Nettles will both perform during the NBC telecast. Both are expected to release new albums in 2016."

As you may have heard, both acts will be having concerts coming up with the HAWK.  Jennifer Nettles is bringing her 'Playing With Fire' tour to Magic City Music Hall in Binghamton on Friday, November 27th.  The highly anticipated show will feature some past Sugarland hits as well as some of Jennifer's new solo material.   Brandy Clark and Ryan Kinder will open the show at Magic City that night.

Jake Owen will be joining Kenny Chesney at our 2016 Taste of Country Music Festival at Hunter Mountain June 10-12th.  Early Bird tickets are still on sale at a reduced price before we announce more acts in the coming weeks.  You can get yours by clicking HERE.

Having both Jennifer and Jake be a part of such a huge tradition is good for country music.  It's estimated over three million make their way to New York City to see the parade in person, with another 50 million viewing on television. The parade is a tradition for millions of families, passed on through generations. Country music has always been well represented.
