
Broome County Arrests Include Drug Offenses And Assault Cases
The weekly report from the Broome County Sheriff's Office was released on December 31, 2025. Activities and arrests are listed below. Persons accused of any crime are considered innocent until proven guilty.
These arrests and charges listed below do not reflect all the activities of the Broome County Sheriff's Department for the week.

Criminal Possession
On this week's report, the Broome County Sheriff's Office, Lexus Burgess from Port Crane, was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, following a Narcotics investigation in the Town of Chenango.
Joseph Hahn of Walton was charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree following a traffic stop in the City of Binghamton.
Following a narcotics investigation in the Town of Union, Caleb Gayle was charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 3rd Degree, and two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree.
False Impersonation
Samantha Carpenter from Endicott was charged with False Personation following a Traffic Stop in the Town of Union.
Criminal Contempt
According to the Broome County Sheriff's report, Anthony Colon of Hallstead, Pennsylvania, was charged with Criminal Contempt in the 1st Degree and Criminal Contempt in the 2nd Degree following an investigation into a violation of an order of protection in the Town of Chenango.
Harassment
Trevor Correll of Vestal was charged with Harassment in the 2nd Degree, following a harassment investigation in the Town of Colesville.
After a harassment investigation in the Town of Windsor, Auston Briggs from Kingston, Pennsylvania, was charged with Aggravated Harassment in the 2nd Degree.
Sex Offender Registration Violation
Mark Samsonik from the Town of Chenango was charged with violating the Sex Offender Registration Act, following a sex offender registration investigation in the Town of Dickinson.
Criminal Trespass
Following a trespassing investigation in the Town of Colesville, Linda Bradbury of Harpursville was charged with Criminal Trespass in the 2nd Degree and Obstruction of Governmental Administration in the 2nd Degree.
Assault
Robert Woodward, IV, from the Town of Chenango, was charged with Assault in the 3rd Degree, following an assault investigation in the Town of Chenango.
Petit Larceny
This week's report listed Robert Crosier of Whitney Point being charged with Petit Larceny following a larceny investigation in the Town of Chenango.
Grand Larceny
Michael Giles of Johnson City was charged with Grand Larceny in the 3rd Degree following a larceny investigation in the Town of Kirkwood.
Obstruction of Governmental Administration
After a Warrant Execution in the City of Binghamton, Jonathan Clapper, from Binghamton, was charged with Obstruction of Governmental Administration in the 2nd Degree.
