
Binghamton Man Accused of Shooting at House, Car on West Side
An apparent dispute involving a Binghamton woman and a former boyfriend wound up with the man firing several gunshots in a West Side neighborhood.
City police were sent to 190 West End Avenue around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday to investigate a report that five shots had been heard in the area.
Officers discovered a Honda Civic that was parked in front of the home had been struck by gunfire. They also found a chair on the porch of the residence had been hit by gunfire.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
Investigators said the woman who lives at the home that was targeted believed the shots were fired by a former boyfriend.
Police took 30-year-old William Graham into custody at his residence on Bennett Avenue.
Officers found a Charter Arms Boomer .44 caliber handgun in Graham's vehicle.
Graham has been charged with first-degree reckless endangerment, second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a firearm.
