The Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse (CHOW) is a vital service to our community. Throughout the year, there are many ways to help stock the shelves of the CHOW warehouse through fundraisers and food drives, such as our annual Food-A-bago food drive, which helps put food on the table for families in need throughout our community.

Recently,  Assemblywoman Donna Lupardo, Cornell Cooperative Extension of Broome County, CHOW, Broome-Tioga BOCES School Nutrition Services, The Leadership Alliance, and Broome County joined together for donations to the Holiday Giving Box campaign, which provides the ingredients for a complete holiday meal for families in our community.

The goal is to provide 425 boxes. According to Assemblywoman Lupardo, each box will include a turkey, stuffing, corn, cranberry sauce, and sparkling cider by CHOW. Dessert will be sourced from local bakeries, and produce will be purchased from local farmers to be included in the boxes

Another holiday food drive has begun to help CHOW and families in our community. Marshall Machinery, which is a local Kubota dealer, has kicked off a holiday food drive at its new Binghamton facility to help local families in need this season.

This food drive for non-perishable food runs through December 24th, 2025, at the Binghamton showroom, 12 Equipment Drive in Binghamton.

Marshall Machinery will contribute $100 for every power unit sold during the campaign, and visitors can also make direct cash donations via a QR code displayed at the facility.

Opening our new Binghamton location is exciting, and we wanted to celebrate in a way that directly benefits our community. We’re thrilled to partner with CHOW to help families in need while welcoming the community to see our new facility.”-  Earl Marshall, President of Marshall Machinery

All donated items will directly support CHOW’s efforts to fight hunger in the Greater Binghamton community.
