Binghamton’s Porchfest Returns Sunday Across 70 Neighborhood Porches
Summer may be winding down, but the music scene in the Binghamton area continues to rock! The 25th annual Blues on the Bridge is set for Saturday, September 19th from 1 to 8 p.m with a location change to the south side of the Washington Street Bridge Memorial Park. Get more information below.

But before Blues on the Bridge, there's another fun event to check out around Binghamton - Porchfest! This year, the date is Sunday, August 30th from 12 to 7 p.m. in the Abel Bennett Historic Tract of Binghamton.
The west side of Binghamton will be alive with music for the 11th year. Organizers of Porchfest invite the public to enjoy a free afternoon of live music performed from residential porches, stoops, and yards of the Abel Bennett Historic Tract.
This year, you'll be treated to 154 local and regional bands performing at 70 host locations. Musically, you'll hear folk, rock, hip-hop, jazz, heavy metal, country, blues, world music, and punk.
During the event, food vendors will be available, a free shuttle will run along the perimeter of the festival (Riverside Drive, Chestnut Street, Recreation Park, and Beethoven Street), and free golf cart shuttles will offer rides where traffic is prohibited. Free parking will be available at Guthrie-Lourdes Hospital in the back lot at the end of Lourdes Road.
In addition, Porchfest Kids Village and Artisan Market will be located at Recreation Park from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Porchfest represents some of the best that Binghamton has to offer – a vibrant music scene, walkable neighborhoods and a strong, spirited sense of community.
