Where To Find The Best Eggs Benedict In The Binghamton New York Area
Every weekend, my wife and I visit a local diner for breakfast. It's a tradition we love to begin the weekend, by enjoying some great food and conversation with staff.
If you asked me what my favorite breakfast food is, I would say Eggs Benedict. While I love all kinds of breakfast food, I can't get enough of my favorite, and fortunately for me, many local diners and restaurants have this delicious item on their breakfast menu.
But, I have learned that not all Eggs Benedict creations are the same. Some serve it up on a biscuit rather than a toasted English muffin. Others may use bacon strips rather than Canadian bacon, or have a different texture/flavor to the hollandaise sauce. I've enjoyed a different take locally that included a bit of spinach added to the mix.
My favorite is a toasted english muffin, a slice of Canadian bacon, poached egg, and smothered in hollandaise sauce. Add a side of hash browns or home fries, and my day is off to a perfect start.
For a different take on their traditional Eggs Benedict, check out 12 variations listed on the website - All Recipes. Some look pretty good, others, not so much in my opinion.

Recently, I asked on social media, for those who love Eggs Benedict, what is your favorite go-to local diner or restaurant that serves up this breakfast item? Well, here are some of the responses I received. Are there any others that did not get mentioned? Let me know!
Nancy M. - The Cellar Restaurant on Front Street in Owego has amazing Eggs Benedict. The hand-whisked, homemade hollandaise sauce is the BEST!!!
Brian R. & Kirk H. - The Village Diner. on Floral Avenue, Jonson City. Kirk says By far the best!
Jenny B., Diane S., and Brandon B. - The Red Oak on Front Street Binghamton. Jenny commented that everything is fresh.
