We've seen several national chain closings including Big Lots, CVS, Party City, and JOANN Fabrics. Live Now Fox reports that a few national retailers are closing some of their locations this year including Macy's, Kohl's, Denny's, and JCPenney.

Locally, the Denny's on the Vestal Parkway has closed, and soon Joann Fabrics on the Vestal Parkway and Party City in Johnson City will also close. A handful of local/regional stores have also closed this year.
