Plan Ahead: I-81 Near Exit 230 in PA To Have Slowdowns Wednesday
If you’re planning to drive on I-81 near Exit 230 in Great Bend Township, Susquehanna County, be prepared for some rolling slowdowns tomorrow, Wednesday, May 28th.
From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., crews will be working to install aerial fiber across the highway, which means traffic will be moving slower than usual in both directions.
What Drivers Should Know
When you hit the work zone, it’s important to stay safe and alert. Follow the posted speed limits, turn on your headlights, and pay close attention to signs and flaggers directing traffic. To keep things moving smoothly, drivers should use both lanes up to the merge point and then take turns merging. It really helps reduce backups and frustration.
