Hundreds Expected for Special Hockey Tournament Weekend

Hundreds of people are being welcomed to Broome County this weekend for a hockey tournament celebrating people of all abilities.

The 2020 Hockey INCLUDES Special Hockey Festival is taking place at the Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena, the SUNY Broome Ice Rink and the Ice House in Chenango Bridge. Activities are planned around the region with specials offered at area restaurants and a Binghamton Devil’s game also on the itinerary.

Teams from all over the United States and Canada are participating in the 3^rd annual event.  Each team gets to play a minimum of three Special Hockey games with participants getting limited edition t-shirts, a banner, team photo and gift bags.

Even after the final Special Ice Hockey Game January 12, banner presentations and raffles, there are some off-ice activities and pickup games into the evening.
