Honoring Those Who Served at Broome County Veterans Day Parade
Veterans Day is such a special and important day. This is the day that marks the anniversary of the signing of the armistice, which is what drew an end to the World War I hostilities between the Allied nations and Germany in 1918, just over 100 years ago. Veteran's Day is also the day that we thank our veterans for their service to the United States of America.
In honor of our local veterans and in appreciation for their service, the members of the Broome County Parade Committee invite you to join them for a special Veterans Day Parade on Monday, November 11, 2019, at 2:00 pm.
The Broome County Veterans Day Parade Committee will host a special Veterans Day Parade in downtown Binghamton which will step off from the American Legion, Post 80 on Main Street at 2:00 p.m. and will proceed to the Broome County Courthouse. You’re encouraged to line the parade route as we honor our heroes on their special day, so dress up in your best red, white, and blue and bring a flag to wave!
