Two of Pennsylvania's most iconic brands have teamed up to make a chocolate beer for a limited time.

According to PennLive, D.G. Yuengling & Son, owners of Yuengling and America's oldest brewery, have teamed up with the Hershey Company to release a limited run of chocolate beer called Yuengling Hershey's Chocolate Porter.

I'm not usually a fan of flavored beers, but I do like Yuengling Lager, and I love Hershey's chocolate, so I will have to give this I try. Besides, being born and raised in Pennsylvania, I feel obligated to try it at least once.

The beer should be available sometime in mid October, and should be available through February of 2020 according to the report.

I wonder if they will do a parody of the old Reese's commercials that said, “you got chocolate in my peanut butter, you got peanut butter in my chocolate”. But this time around it would include chocolate and beer instead of peanut butter.

In a video on Yuengling's YouTube page, discussing Yuengling Hershey's Chocolate Porter, the company says it pairs well with chili, briskets, steaks, and it also pairs well with desserts as in chocolate, cheesecakes, ice cream, and certain cheeses.
