Head-On Crash in Candor Sends Drivers to Hospitals

Authorities are investigating a head-on crash in the evening December 10 in Tioga County that resulted in one person being air-lifted to the hospital.

The crash happened on Route 96 near Iron Kettle Farm in Candor.

Officials say one driver was airlifted to Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre while the other was transported by ambulance to Wilson Memorial Regional Medical Center in Johnson City.

The cash closed a portion of the road for a couple hours while the investigation was underway.

No information is being made available on the condition or identities of either driver.
