The 37th Greene Applefest, proudly presented by the First United Methodist Church of Greene (FUMC Greene), is back! Mark your calendars for September 28, 2024, as you and your family are invited to join in the fun from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. as all things apple are celebrated.

Feast your senses on an array of apple-inspired treats including famous pies, Welsh cookies, refreshing cider, delectable donuts, tempting candy apples, and of course, juicy and crisp apples to enjoy throughout the day. Whether you have a sweet tooth or crave something more traditional, there will be something to suit every taste bud.

Prepare to be amazed as you stroll through our festival grounds teeming with crafters and food vendors, ready to showcase their unique creations. From handmade crafts to mouthwatering delicacies, you're sure to find treasures to take home or devour on the spot.

Families with children are in for a special treat at the Free Kids Zone, where little ones can bounce to their hearts' content, get their faces painted in delightful designs, enjoy enchanting puppet shows, create giant bubbles, and partake in fun games specially designed for our youngest attendees.

The festival atmosphere will be buzzing with live entertainment, adding a lively soundtrack to your day of apple-filled fun. Watch our performers dazzle you with their talents as you savor the festivities around you.

If you're feeling creative, unleash your artistic side with pumpkin painting or lace up your running shoes for the Run for the Apples, a thrilling event that promises excitement for participants and spectators alike.

For those seeking a more leisurely experience, pony rides offer a peaceful interlude amid the lively festival ambiance, allowing you to take in the sights and sounds at a more relaxed pace.
