One of the first big events that the Southern Tier is looking forward to is the drive-in style Greater Binghamton Airshow at the Greater Binghamton Airport on July 17 and 18.

Thanks to the efforts of the Veterans Service Agency, Broome County will offer a 30 percent discount to all veterans wishing to attend the upcoming air show. Discounted tickets can be purchased by calling 607-778-2147 or by sending an email to stephanie.leader@broomecounty.us.

The Greater Binghamton Airshow returns to Binghamton will be full fanfare as the United States Airforce Thunderbirds in their Lockheed F-16CJ Fighting Falcon aircraft will headline the show. Also headlining will be the United States Air Force A-10 Thunderbolt demo and the United States Army Golden Knights Parachute team.

The Greater Binghamton Airshow will be a drive-in style for 2021 with spectators invited to park and set up a lawn chair to watch the show. Gates will open at 9:30 a.m. on both Saturday and Sunday, July 17 and 18. Performances will run from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on both days.

Tickets for the Greater Binghamton Airshow range in price (per vehicle) from $250 to $65 until July 10. After July 10, prices increase from $ 275 to $75.
