Frankie Ballard Provides Song for Movie ‘Hot Pursuit’

Frankie Ballard is headlining the show but did you hear where else he's at. He's at the movies, at least his music is. He's getting his first cinematic moment in the new movie Hot Pursuit.

The film starring Reese Witherspoon and Sofia Vergars opened last weekend making 13 million dollars. It features an extended musical moment for Ballard's song Drinky Drink.

As Witherspoon and Vergara's characters run from the law, the song is playing as they visit a biker bar looking for a way to escape....Hijinks ensure. You can look forward to the Spotify release of his new Drinky Drink EP coming soon.

Frankie had said that he hoped that this song would see the light of day and now it has. It's not the only country song to appear in the movie. Miranda Lambert has a song called Two of a Crime.

The movie finished second over the weekend to 'Avengers: Age of Ultron'. No real surprise there.
