Allan Thomas, an Army veteran spent the last 40 years searching for his twins in South Korea and just as he thought he'd never see them again, he was shocked to get the reunion he's waited so long for.

Thomas had fraternal twins, James and Sandra, with a woman he met while stationed in South Korea in 1967. When his tour ended in 1969, Thomas was forced to leave the kids with their mom in Korea because he wasn't able to get passports for them. Thomas kept trying, but then the mom of the kids decided that she didn't want to leave Korea after all.

It wasn't until several years later that Thomas found out the mother of his kids had put them up for adoption without telling him. He then spent decades trying to find them, but had no luck. Until recently.

Earlier this year, Thomas started a Facebook page and posted a collection of pictures he had of his missing kids and asked the world to share and try to reconnect him with his kids. And it worked.

With the help of ABC News and an investigative genealogist, James and Sandra were located and they were finally reunited with Thomas.
