
Endwell Drug Case Could Remove Dealer From Community
On February 3, 2026, Allen L. Hurt, 60, of Endwell, pleaded guilty in Broome County Court before Judge Elizabeth Burns to Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree for possessing narcotics with intent to sell.
Search Warrant Execution Reveals Narcotics And Evidence
The conviction stems from an investigation by the Broome County Special Investigations Unit. On January 2, 2025, investigators executed a search warrant at Hurt’s residence at 3104 Buckingham Road in Endwell. During the search, law enforcement recovered approximately eight ounces of crack cocaine, cutting agents, packaging materials, a digital scale, and $1,159 in U.S. currency.
Expected Prison Sentence And Timeline For Final Hearing
As part of the plea agreement, Hurt will be sentenced as a second felony drug offender to seven years in New York State prison, followed by three years of post-release supervision.
