Ok...the scammers have gone too far.  Now they're threatening our chill.  There's a new Netflix scam that police are warning people about.

It's called a phishing scam and you could get it in your email.

A police officer (who doesn't even have Netflix) in Solon, Ohio was sent this message in his email asking him to update his information for his account.

The criminals are asking people to click on links in order to update their Netflix account information.  Those links will automatically give your personal information to them or could put malware on your computer.

The email will look something like this:

"Hi Dear, We're having some trouble with your current billing information. We'll try again, but in the meantime you may want to update your payment details,"

Do not click on the link that follows.

Netflix actually says that if you think you may have received this email, that you should NOT click on any links, and do not reply to it. Instead, forward it to phishing@netflix.com and include the message header information.
