David Nail played Binghamton's Spiediefest and Balloon Rally many years ago as part of a songwriting showcase we had in Binghamton at Otsiningo Park.

Since then, David has been a favorite with Hawk listeners with hits like 'Let It Rain,' 'Whatever She's Got,' 'Red Light' and his current top 20 hit, 'Nights on Fire.'

Friday, Taste of Country gave his just released new album 'Fighter,' a big thumbs up.  Read the review HERE.

Sunday night 7-10pm, David Nail is in the spotlight again as he co-hosts Country Countdown USA with Lon Helton on 98.1 The Hawk.

Back in December, David Nail & his wife Catherine became parents of twins.  That experience changed his life.  At the time, he was working on his fourth album.  The twins obviously affected the making of the album, and David talked about that and more this week.

David's wife Catherine is good friends with Luke Bryan's wife Caroline.  Now that the twins are old enough to travel, Catherine brings them over to Luke's house, which is just a few miles down the road.  David will include stories about that and more Sunday night at 7.

David also has great stories this week about Keith Urban, Chris Young, Brothers Osborne, Sam Hunt, and Eric Church.

Listen to Country Countdown USA Sunday night 7-10pm on 98.1 The Hawk.  Listen live at 981TheHawk.com or on your smartphone or tablet with the FREE Hawk music app Radio Pup, available in the Apple iTunes App Store or Google Play.  You can also download it HERE free.
